🌰 Introduction to 도토리 (Acorn) (Acorn) is the fruit of oak trees. It has a hard shell and is usually brown when mature. Acorns are an important food source for animals such as squirrels and birds. It can be processed into 도토리묵 (acorn jelly), which is a popular Korean dish. (Dotorimuk) – A soft, jelly-like food made from acorn starch. It is usually served with soy sauce, vegetables, and sesame oil. (Dotorimuk-muchim) – Sliced acorn jelly mixed with vegetables and a spicy, savory sauce. (Dotoriguksu) – Noodles made with acorn flour, often served in a warm or cold broth. (Dotorijeon) – A Korean-style savory pancake made using acorn flour. (Dotoritteok) – Traditional rice cakes made with acorn powder, giving them a nutty flavor.

🇳🇵❤️🇰🇷 Being in Korea doesn’t mean being far from home. When something happens in Nepal, our phones suddenly become our connection to everything we left behind. We may be busy with university, work, assignments and everyday life in Korea, but one message from home saying “Are you okay?” can change the whole day. Thousands of kilometers away, we still worry, check the news, call our families, and hope everyone is safe. Being a Nepali student in Korea is not just about studying and building a career. Sometimes, it’s also about carrying home in your heart while living far away. 🇳🇵🥺
