As foreign students, let’s respect Korean culture, follow the laws and immigration rules, attend our classes regularly, and support each other. Learning some basic Korean will make everyday life much easier. Please be careful with part-time jobs, housing contracts, and personal finances. If you have any problems, don’t hesitate to contact your university’s international student office for help. Most importantly, stay positive, make good friends, learn from new experiences, and enjoy your time in Korea! β€οΈπŸ‡°πŸ‡· Good luck with your studies and your life in Korea!

If you’re an international student in Korea, don’t wait until graduation to prepare for your next step. Start checking these early: βœ… Your visa options after graduation βœ… Korean language level (TOPIK/KIIP) βœ… Job fields you’re eligible for βœ… Required qualifications and certificates βœ… Documents needed for your visa change βœ… Companies hiring international talent Tip: Your major, Korean ability, qualifications, and job type can all affect which visa you may be eligible for. πŸ“Œ Start preparing before your final semester β€” not after graduation! Looking for a part-time job while studying or a full-time job after graduation? Don’t rely only on friends or social media. πŸ“± Check Korean job platforms such as Albamon, Alba천ꡭ, JobKorea and Saramin. πŸŽ“ For international students, also check: β€’ University career centers & job boards β€’ Foreigners-only recruitment information β€’ Government/immigration employment information β€’ Company websites and LinkedIn ⚠️ Before starting a part-time job, check whether your visa allows it and whether you need permission from immigration. πŸ“Œ After graduation, start looking early and check which jobs and visa types match your major, qualifications and visa status.

International students in Korea: Before starting a part-time job, make sure you have permission. Students on D-2 (student) or eligible D-4 (language training) status generally need to obtain permission for part-time employment from immigration before starting work. Working without the required permission can lead to immigration penalties and may affect your future visa status. Always check your permitted working hours and eligible workplace before accepting a job, as the conditions can differ depending on your visa, Korean-language level, and study program.
